Do you want to move to another city or state in Lockdown ?

In our country India, the number of corona cases is increasing day by day. Due to this problem, the government may be extended lockdown for more than 2 weeks. During a lockdown, many tourists and labourers are being sent to their homes by some special and labour trains.

However, people are advised to stay at home during the lockdown. But the government has issued special guidelines for departure if there is an emergency. For this, you can get a pass issued by the local administration.

What is the guideline?

The state governments are working on the guideline set by the Home Ministry, which e-pass is issued. An e-pass is required to travel from one state to another and one district to another. It is very paramount to get an e-pass to go outside a state or district. The government has also released an online link for this. This pass will only be issued in medical or other emergencies.

How to get a pass?

E-passes are being issued online. 

Following steps are necessary for issue online e-pass : 

1. Go to the link provided for that state and apply it. 
2. You will have to ask for OTP by filling the mobile number and Captcha. 
3. You have to fill and apply it. 
4. You have to give the name, age, address, where to go and also state the reason for the trip.
5. RC book and other vehicle details will also have to be given.

The administration will then review and issue a pass.
