Indian Squad for World Cup 2019

The World Cup 2019 is the 12th edition of the Cricket World Cup, scheduled to be hosted by England and Wales, between 30 May to 14 July 2019.

BCCI Chief selector MSK Prasad announced the Indian squad for the World Cup 2019 in Mumbai on 15th April.

Squad:

Virat Kohli (c), Rohit Sharma(vc), Shikhar Dhawan,
Vijay Shankar, MS Dhoni(wk), KL Rahul,
Dinesh KarthikKedar Jadhav, Hardik Pandya,
Ravindra Jadeja, Kuldeep Yadav, Yuzvendra Chahal,
Jasprit Bumrah, Bhuvneshwar Kumar, Mohammed Shami

Interestingly, India have named V.shankar (all-rounder) D.karthik (wk) and K.rahul (wk) in the squad for the  wc2019. Rayudu and Pant were not part of the squad, which also has a place for R.Jadeja(all-rounder).

Jadeja selected as the 3rd spinner, alongside wrist spinners Y.Chahal and K.Yadav. The 4th pacers in the side picked themselves with Bumrah leading an attack that also includes M.Shami and Bhuvneshwar Kumar also all-rounder Hardik Pandya.
